Fremont Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 880 Kills Alonzo Mendoza
Fremont, California (February 4, 2020) – Authorities have released the name of the 20-year-old San Jose victim who died following a Fremont multi-vehicle crash in Fremont early Wednesday morning.
The deadly crash was reported at about 12:30 a.m. on Interstate Highway 880.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a Ford Mustang collided with two other vehicles on the freeway under unclear circumstances.
Due to the impact, the Mustang burst into flame
The Mustang operator, Alonzo Mendoza, was declared dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the two other motorists stopped after the crash and cooperated with the law.
The accident remains under investigation.
