Balthazar Donato Arrested Following Fatal San Ardo DUI Car Accident on Highway 101
San Ardo, California (February 4, 2020) – The 23-year-old Shandon victim who died following a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon in San Ardo has been identified as Sabrina Lecce.
The alleged DUI accident occurred on Highway 101, near Alvarado road, at about 5 p.m.
The mishap happened when a 2009 Lincoln riven by 27-year-old Balthazar Donato unexpectedly veered off into the opposite lane for unknown reasons.
The Lincoln then crashed with a vehicle that was operated by Lecce.
Sadly, Lecce was declared dead at the scene. Meanwhile, Lecce’s passenger survived with minor injuries.
Donato, Greenfield, suffered unspecified injures and was later arrested for DUI.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
