Fremont, California (February 3, 2021) – A driver was killed in a multi-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning in Fremont, according to the California Highway patrol.
The fatal collision happened on Interstate Highway 880 Freeway near Warren Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. on February 3.
Three vehicles including a Ford Mustang collided in the southbound lanes of the freeway in unclear circumstances.
The Mustang reportedly burst into flames after the crash, killing its driver.
The other two drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
