El Monte, California (January 9, 2021) – 56-year-old Roberto Heredia has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle in El Monte on Thursday evening.
According to a local news source, Heredia was crossing a street on the 2500 block of Durfee Avenue when a northbound Toyota RAV4 struck him.
Heredia was fatally injured in the crash.
The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
