Man Injured in Ventura Pedestrian Crash on Pacific Coast Highway Crash
Ventura, California (January 9, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Pacific Coast Highway in Ventura Thursday afternoon, according to a police report.
The pedestrian accident happened on Pacific Coast Highway near Mondos Beach at about 12:35 p.m. January 7.
A 48-year-old Santa Paula man was reportedly traveling southbound on PCH in a white Volkswagen Passat when he struck a 62-year-old Bakersfield man who was walking in an unknown direction on PCH.
The paramedics responded to the accident scene and treated the patient.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The accident remains under investigation.
