Fatal Palmdale Crash on 10th Street West near Avenue N-8 Wednesday Evening

Palmdale, California (January 8, 2021) – A pedestrian accident the happened on a street in Palmdale Wednesday evening resulted in the death of one person.

The fatal crash took place on 10th Street West, just south of Avenue N-8, at approximately 6:25 p.m. January 6.

A 2003 Chevrolet driven by a 25-year-old man northbound on the street hit a man, alleged to be in his 30s, under unclear circumstances.

The pedestrian was also reportedly walking northbound in the number two lane of 10th Street West at the collision time.

Sadly, the unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck resulted in the closure of 10th Street West between Avenue O and Avenue N for approximately five hours.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
