Roseville Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 near Dillard Road Kills 28-Year-Old Woman
Fatal Roseville Pedestrian Collision on Highway 99 Early Friday Morning
Roseville, California (January 8, 2021) – A pedestrian accident that took place early Friday morning in Roseville left a female party dead, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The deadly crash took place at approximately 2:20 a.m. on Highway 99 near Dillard Road.
The accident happened when a 2015 Nissan Sentra driven by a 26-year-old woman northbound on the roadway involved in an accident.
The female party then was struck by a 1996 Volkswagen Jetta, operated by 23-year-old Jesus S. Hernandez, after she exited her car to talk to the other motorist.
The Jetta then slammed into the second vehicle upon the impact.
Sadly, the unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hernandez of Bridgeport, Washington, was arrested on alleged DUI.
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
