Riverside Hit-and-Run Collision at Colorado Avenue and Jackson Street Kills 66-Year-Old Lin Kim
Riverside, California (January 16, 2021) – 66-year-old Lin Tae Kim has been identified as the Riverside victim who died following a suspected hit-and-run bicycle accident last week Thursday, January 14.
Officials responded to the deadly crash site at around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Colorado Avenue and Jackson Street.
A 2002 to 2008 Mini Cooper reportedly struck Kim while riding a bicycle southbound on Jackson Street in a bike lane in the morning hours.
Kim was entering the southbound traffic lanes at the time of the collision.
Meanwhile, the involved motorist escaped the scene following the mishap.
Sadly, Kim died at Parkview Community Hospital while undergoing treatment.
