Man hospitalized after Fresno Accident at Belmont and Marks Avenues
Fresno Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash at Belmont and Marks Avenues Serious Injuries Male Party
Fresno, California (January 16, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in an alleged hit-and-run crash in southwest Fresno Friday evening, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The deadly pedestrian accident was reported at approximately 6:00 p.m., January 15, at Belmont Avenue and Marks Avenue.
A male party, who was walking westbound on Marks Avenue, was struck by a brown pickup truck whose driver escaped the scene.
The pickup was reportedly passing a vehicle when its driver hit the pedestrian while crossing the highway.
The unidentified victim was hospitalized at Community Regional Medical Center with critical injuries.
Officials are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
