3 Critically Injured in Fatal Pomona Collision on San Bernardino (10) Freeway
Pomona Multi-Vehicle Collision on San Bernardino (10) Freeway Left One Dead
Pomona, California (January 24, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating to determine the cause of a fatal multivehicle accident that took place on an interstate in Pomona Sunday morning.
The CHP responded to the crash site at about 12:16 a.m. on San Bernardino (10) Freeway at Corona (71) Freeway.
The circumstances that led to the collision of the multiple vehicles were not immediately established at the report time
Meanwhile, one person died in the accident. Three other victims survived with critical injuries and were taken to area trauma centers for further treatment.
The wreck resulted in the closure of the westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
