Indio Pedestrian Accident on Indio Boulevard near Sun Gold Street Kills One Person
1 Dies after being Struck by Train on Indio Boulevard near Sun Gold Street in Indio
Indio, California (January 24, 2021) – A traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a train Saturday afternoon in Indio resulted in the death of one person.
The fatal crash took place at about 12:08 p.m., January 23, in the 82200 block of Indio Boulevard east of Sun Gold Street.
The Riverside County Fire Department did not immediately establish how the pedestrian was hit by the train.
Sadly, the victim died in the accident.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the crash.
