Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident at McHenry Avenue and Frances Avenue in Modesto
Modesto, California (January 28, 2021) – A 60-year-old Modesto man sustained major injuries in a pedestrian accident that happened at an intersection in Modesto on Tuesday night.
The accident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. January 26, in the area of McHenry Avenue and Frances Avenue.
A man was walking across the street when he was struck by a southbound 2015 Honda Civic driven by Abdulwahab Alsumairi, 33, of Modesto.
The police said the man suffered major injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Alsumairi and his passenger were not injured.
More information about the accident was not provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
