Fatal Salinas Pedestrian Crash on Highway 68 near Hitchcock Road Early Thursday Morning
Salinas, California (January 28, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating to determine the cause of a fatal pedestrian accident that happened early Thursday morning in Salinas.
The fatal collision took place on Highway 68, near Hitchcock Road, at approximately 1:38 a.m.
An individual was reportedly struck by a vehicle whose driver remained at the crash site and cooperated with the law.
Sadly, the unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
