Fresno Pedestrian Collision at Floradora and Cedar Avenues Left Dickie Baker Dead

Fresno, California (January 28, 2021) – 53-year-old Dickie Baker has been identified as the Fresno pedestrian who died following a traffic collision in Fresno last week Thursday evening, the Fresno County Coroner’s Office reported.

The alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident took place in the area of Floradora and Cedar avenues shortly before 6:30 p.m. January 21.

As per the report, a southbound vehicle hit Baker while walking across the street in the evening hours.

The involved motorist, who was possibly driving a green or blue SUV or truck, escaped the crash site after striking Baker.

Sadly, Baker died at an area hospital where he was admitted after the wreck.

The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to locate the hit-and-run suspect.
