Viviana Mazon Dies after 2 Vehicles Crash Head-on on Interstate 8 at Greenfield Avenue Off-Ramp
El Cajon Car Crash on Interstate 8 at Greenfield Avenue Off-Ramp Left Viviana Mazon Dead
El Cajon, California (January 14, 2021) – 32-year-old Viviana Alicia Mazon has been identified by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office as the victim who died following a two-vehicle collision in El Cajon Saturday evening.
At about 4:33 p.m., January 9, officials received a crash report involving a work truck and sedan on eastbound Interstate 8 Freeway at Greenfield exit.
The eastbound sedan was exiting the interstate before slamming into the big rig in the afternoon hours.
Due to the impact, the sedan overturned, and its female passenger, Mazon, was ejected.
Sadly, Mazon died in the accident.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to identify the cause of the fatal crash.
