Cindi Zerovs, Mitchell Wade Killed in DUI Car Crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach, California (January 22, 2021) – Cindi Darrelyn Zerovs, 71, of Huntington Beach, and Mitchell Tyler Wade, 19, from Newport Beach, have been identified as the two people who were killed in a suspected DUI car crash in Huntington Beach on Tuesday evening.

The California Highway Patrol said the collision happened at about 6:45 p.m. January 19, on Pacific Coast Highway near Warner Avenue.

Eric Kinser, 35, of Sunset Beach, was driving a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck northbound on Pacific Coast Highway when he drifted into the opposite traffic lane and collided head-on with a 1999 Toyota Solara driven by Wade.

Zervos was driving a 2012 Lexus RX350 southbound and was also involved in the crash.

Zervos and Wade were killed in the collision.

A 45-year-old woman who was riding in the Lexus was taken to OC Global Medical Center with moderate injuries.

Kinser was transported to OC Global Medical Center in Santa Ana with unspecified injuries. He was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Additional details about the crash were not provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
