At Least 1 Hospitalized after Salinas Car Accident at Old Stage Road and Spence Road

Salinas, California (January 1, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday evening two-vehicle accident that left at least one person seriously injured in Salinas

At about 6:17 p.m., on December 31, the California Highway Patrol responded to the major injury accident at Old Stage Road and Spence Road.

The CHP said a black Toyota Tacoma pickup truck collided head-on with another vehicle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

As a result of the collision, the Toyota reportedly flipped over and acquired rollover damage. A lot of fluid was leaking from one of the vehicles onto the roadway.

Both vehicles had one occupant each at the time of the crash.

One person was hospitalized with major injuries sustained in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
