Man Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle on Hickory Avenue near Central Avenue
Orangevale, California (January 1, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol investigates the circumstances that led to a fatal pedestrian accident in Orangevale Thursday.
The traffic collision occurred on Hickory Avenue near Central Avenue.
A 77-year-old man was struck by a southbound vehicle while walking along the highway for unknown reasons.
The involved motorist stopped following the wreck and cooperated with the officials.
Sadly, the male party died in the accident.
Intoxication was not alleged to have played a role in the mishap.
The CHP is still investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
