Woman and Daughter Killed in Santa Rosa Car Crash on Highway 12 Crash
2 Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision on Highway 12 in Santa Rosa
Santa Rosa, California (January 5, 2021) – A 44-year-old woman and her 21-year-old daughter died Monday morning after a truck crashed into their car in Santa Rosa.
The crash was reported at about 8:20 a.m. January 4, on Highway 12, just east of Oakmont Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white pickup truck reportedly crashed into the passenger side of a black Nissan Sentra, killing a 21-year-old female driver and her 44-year-old mother.
Both victims were from Sonoma. Their names were withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
The 60-year-old Santa Rosa man driving the truck sustained moderate injuries in the crash. He was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
