Woman Struck and Killed By Vehicle on Pacheco Boulevard at Wygal Drive

Martinez, California (December 12, 2020) – A 28-year-old woman died following a pedestrian accident that took place Thursday afternoon in Martinez, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The fatal collision was reported at about 5:18 p.m. December 14, on Pacheco Boulevard at Wygal Drive.

An eastbound pickup truck struck the female party after she walked into a traffic lane in an unmarked crosswalk.

The involved motorist, who reportedly did not see the pedestrian early enough, stopped and cooperated with the law.

The unidentified victim died in the accident.
