Woman Killed in Head-On Collision on Roseville Road in Foothill Farms
Foothill Farms, California (December 26, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol responded to a head-on collision that claimed the life of a 24-year-old woman on Thursday afternoon in Foothill Farms.
The collision was reported at around 12:45 p.m. December 24, along Roseville Road near Oakhollow Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Toyota Corolla driven by a 22-year-old woman drifted into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a GMC Sierra.
The 24-year-old North Highlands woman, who was a passenger in the Corolla, was killed in the crash.
The driver of the Corolla and passenger sustained major injuries in the accident.
Both patients were taken to the hospital for treatment.
A 57-year-old Sacramento man who was driving the GMC suffered minor injuries in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
