Steven Bishop Hospitalized After Fatal Santa Rosa Collision on Highway 121
Santa Rosa Car Accident on Highway 121 Seriously Injures 52-Year-Old Steven Bishop
Santa Rosa, California (December 26, 2020) – The Santa Rosa victim who survived with major injuries following a fatal traffic collision Thursday morning in Santa Rosa has been identified as 52-year-old Steven Bishop.
The fatal head-on collision was reported just after 9:00 a.m., on Highway 121 near Schellville.
As per the CHP report, the mishap began when a 2009 Mazda heading southbound along the roadway attempted to overtake another car on December 24.
The Mazda then crashed with a Ford pickup operated by Bishop near Wagner.
Sadly, the unidentified Mazda operator was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, Bishop was hospitalized at Queen of the Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
The CHP did not believe intoxication played a role in the wreck.
The accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
