Man Killed in Bicycle Accident on 11th Street near Lincoln Boulevard in Tracy
Tracy, California (December 6, 2020) – A 73-year-old man was killed in a bicycle accident on Wednesday evening in Tracy, according to the police.
At around 6:00 p.m., December 2, officers responded to a deadly crash on 11th Street, just west of Lincoln Boulevard.
The police said the man was riding a black bicycle without lights across the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle.
He was wearing all-dark clothing at the time of the crash.
The man was taken to San Joaquin County Hospital, where he later died.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Officers said speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
