San Marcos, California (December 17, 2020) – One person survived with serious injuries after a motorcycle crashed with a car Wednesday afternoon in San Marcos, a local news source reported.

The major injury crash took place along Twin Oaks Valley Road at around 12:30 p.m.

The accident involved a motorcycle operated by a 20-year-old man southbound on North Twin Oaks Valley Road and a Toyota Camry that turned into his path.

The Toyota driver, the 80-year-old man, was turning into a Post Office from a left-turn lane of northbound Twin Oaks before the rider struck into the passenger side of the car.

Due to the impact, the unidentified rider was ejected from the bike.

Meanwhile, the motorcyclist was hospitalized with major injuries including a compound fracture to his left arm and a possible broken right arm.

Details regarding the involved motorist were not immediately established at the time of the report.
