1 Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle near Main Street and Alton Avenue in Santa Ana

Santa Ana, California (December 17, 2020) – A pedestrian accident that took place in Santa Ana, Sunday afternoon, resulted in the death of a female party.

The fatal crash took place near Main Street and Alton Avenue at around 2:10 p.m.

The mishap began when a vehicle travelling west on Alton Avenue turned north onto Main Street in the afternoon hours. The car then struck the woman who was trying to cross Main Street on December 13.

The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was rushed to UC Irvine Medical Center where she later died.

Officials affirmed the involved motorist stopped following the mishap and cooperate with the authorities’ investigation.
