Luke Abilez Killed in Train Accident on Batavia Road in Dixon

Dixon, California (December 3, 2020) – 16-year-old Luke Abilez, of Dixon, has been identified by the Solano County Sheriff-Coroner’s office as the teenager who was struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Dixon on Saturday night.

The accident was reported at around 7:40 p.m. November 28, near 7133 Batavia Road.

The events leading up to the crash were not immediately determined, but Union Pacific police said the accident happened on Union Pacific tracks.

Abilez was killed in the accident.

No one on board was injured.

The accident is under investigation.
