Luis Pool Killed in Thousand Oaks Pedestrian Crash on Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks
Thousand Oaks, California (December 14, 2020) – The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office has disclosed the name of the man who died in a pedestrian accident in Thousand Oaks on December 5.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened on Thousand Oaks Boulevard at about 8:20 p.m.
64-year-old Luis Pool, of Thousand Oaks, was walking in the area when an eastbound vehicle, driven by a 66-year-old Thousand Oaks woman, struck him.
Pool was rushed by an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Medical Examiner’s Office said Pool died of multiple blunt force injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
