Fatal Saturday Morning Salinas Pedestrian Collision at Kimmel Street and Sanborn Road
Salinas, California (December 14, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a fatal pedestrian accident that happened, near the Sanborn Park, in Salinas Saturday morning.
The deadly crash, involving a male party and a vehicle, was reported at approximately 7:00 a.m. in the area of Kimmel Street and Sanborn Road.
The man was hit by the automobile in the afternoon hours under unclear circumstances.
Officials said the driver stopped and rendered aid to the victim.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.
