was struck and killed by a vehicle Monday morning in Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly crash site at about 4:30 a.m. on Highway 99 near Jensen Avenue.
Singh was walking in the far-right southbound lane of the highway when a Chevrolet Equinox, driven by 42-year-old Gabriel Gonzalez, hit him in the morning hours.
Due to the impact, Singh was struck by a second vehicle after being thrown into the highway’s middle lane.
Gonzalez, a Fresno resident, stopped after hitting Singh and cooperated with the authorities’ investigation.
