Lake Elsinore Accident at SH 74 and Rosetta Canyon Drive Results in Major Injuries
Lake Elsinore, California (December 30, 2020) – One person was hospitalized with major injuries after being involved in a two vehicle collision at an intersection in Lake Elsinore Tuesday morning.
The major injury crash took place just before 10:48 a.m. in the area of SH 74 and Rosetta Canyon Drive, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported.
The accident happened when a vehicle heading on Rosetta Canyon Drive made a U-turn in front of another automobile at the Lake Elsinore intersection in the morning hours. The two cars then rolled over after they crashed on December 29.
One person was also pinned in the wreckage upon the impact.
Medical personnel transported one person to the hospital for treatment for major injuries, including a fractured neck.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
