Carla Bison Struck and Hurt by Vehicle on Highway 62 near Lanning Lane in Morongo Valley
Morongo Valley, California (December 30, 2020) – 61-year-old Carla Bison, of Morongo Valley, has been identified as the victim who was hit and injured by a vehicle Monday evening in Morongo Valley.
The pedestrian accident took place at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Highway 62 just west of Lanning Lane.
Bison was hit by a 2019 Subaru Legacy while walking across the freeway.
The Subaru driver, 26-year-old of Wenatchee, Washington remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.
Bison was hospitalized at Desert Hospital in Palm Springs with major injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
