Fatal Pedestrian Accident at Yosemite Boulevard and Riverside Drive in Modesto
Modesto, California (December 10, 2020) – A woman died after being hit by a Modesto Irrigation District utility truck at an intersection in Modesto on Tuesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened at about 7:13 p.m. December 8, at Yosemite Boulevard and Riverside Drive.
The police said the accident occurred at the Stop N Save parking lot. However, the events leading up to the crash were not immediately established.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her name was not disclosed pending notification of her next of kin.
The truck was at the scene when the police arrived.
