Man Killed in Thousand Oaks Pedestrian Crash on Thousand Oaks Boulevard near Skyline Drive
Thousand Oaks, California (December 10, 2020) – A man in his 60s died after being hit by a vehicle as he crossed a street in Thousand Oaks on Saturday night.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened at about 8:20 p.m. December 5, on Thousand Oaks Boulevard, just west of Skyline Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was crossing the street when a sedan driven by a 66-year-old woman struck him.
The Thousand Oaks man was rushed to Los Robles Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The name of the deceased was not released pending notification of his next of kin.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
