Woman Hit and Seriously Injured by Vehicle on California Avenue in Bakersfield ID’d as Elizabeth Gomez
Bakersfield, California (November 18, 2020) – Authorities have identified the female party who sustained major injuries following a suspected hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Bakersfield, earlier last month, as 42-year-old Elizabeth Sanchez Gomez.
The major injury collision happened on October 7 along East California Avenue in front of the La Villa Meat Market.
As per the report, a blue BMW with two passengers reportedly struck Gomez while walking on the avenue’s sidewalk in unclear circumstances.
Gomez was thrown into the air upon the impact. She sustained a broken leg injury following the mishap.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
