Cotati Fatal Pedestrian Accident at Myrtle Avenue and Macklin Drive Monday Afternoon
Cotati, California (November 18, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a fatal pedestrian accident that happened in Cotati Monday Afternoon, November 16
Officials responded to the deadly crash site at approximately 12:30 p.m., at Myrtle Avenue and Macklin Drive near Old Redwood Highway.
It was not immediately established how a male party, who was walking his dog at the southern edge of Helen Putnam Park, was hit by a van that was adorned with the logo for Dr. Handyman, Rohnert Park home repair and Maintenance Company.
Meanwhile, the involved motorist stopped after the crash and cooperated with authorities’ investigation.
The man died in the accident.
More details about the mishap will be released immediately after the completion of the investigation.
