Oakland Accident on Interstate 580 at 35th Avenue Off-Ramp Seriously Injures One Person
Oakland Major Injury 2-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 580 at 35th Avenue Off-Ramp November 17
Oakland, California (November 18, 2020) – One unidentified person was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a traffic collision in Oakland Tuesday evening.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the major injury crash site at approximately 6:26 p.m. November 17, on the Interstate 580 at the 35th Avenue exit.
The accident involved a red sedan and a silver sedan that crashed in the eastbound lane of Interstate 580 near the Chevron gas station for undetermined reasons.
The wreck left one unidentified victim with a broken leg injury. Paramedics rushed the patient to an area hospital for further medication.
Authorities shut down the No. 2 lanes of the off-ramp as they investigated and cleared the scene.
