Woman Dies, Man Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 41 in Fresno County
Fresno County, California (November 8, 2020) – A woman died and a man suffered major injuries following
a multi-vehicle crash that happened Saturday night south of Easton in Fresno County.
Just after 8:00 p.m. on November 7, emergency crews responded to the crash on Highway 41 near Adams Avenue.
According to the authorities, a 17-year-old woman was driving a Honda Accord southbound on Highway 41 when she turned eastbound onto Adams Avenue and struck a Toyota Camry.
The Honda then crashed into a Chevrolet Suburban occupied by a family of three, including a child. The Camry careened into a light pole.
The female passenger of the Camry died at the scene while the male driver was taken to a local hospital with major injuries.
The Suburban occupants sustained minor injuries and had to seek medical attention on their own.
The driver of the Honda, a 17-year-old woman, complained of pain and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
