Fatal San Bernardino Pedestrian Collision at Tippecanoe Avenue and Davidson Street Thursday morning
San Bernardino, California (November 8, 2020) – A pedestrian accident that happened at an intersection in San Bernardino, Thursday morning, resulted in the death of one person.
Officials responded to the fatal crash site at about 5:45 a.m., November 6, in the area of Tippecanoe Avenue and Davidson Street.
As per the report, a 66-year-old elderly man was walking directly in the oncoming traffic when he was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that was driven by 48-year-old Brian Phelps north on Tippecanoe Avenue.
Paramedics rushed the unidentified patient to the hospital where he later died.
Details regarding the Grand Terrace resident, Phelps, were not immediately established at the time of the report.
The deadly accident remains under an active investigation.
