Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash at Jamboree Road and 405 Freeway in Irvine
Irvine, California (November 8, 2020) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Irvine Saturday night, authorities said.
The crash happened at the intersection of Jamboree Road and the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway exit just before 8:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7.
According to the authorities, a 39-year-old Huntington Beach man was riding a motorcycle on the roadway when he collided with a truck towing a trailer at the Irvine intersection.
The motorcyclist was taken to Orange County Global Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The truck driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. Neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the accident.
The Irvine Police Department asked anyone with information about the crash is urged to call them at 949-724-7047.
