Bicyclist Hannah Tran Hit and Killed by Vehicle at Santiago Canyon and Modjeska Grade Roads in Lake Forest

Lake Forest, California (November 17, 2020) – 42-year-old Hannah Tran, of Orange, has been identified by the Orange County Sheriff coroner’s office as the victim who died following a pedestrian accident in Lake Forest Sunday afternoon.

The fatal pedestrian crash occurred at about 4:00 p.m., November 15, at the intersection of Santiago Canyon and Modjeska Grade roads.

Tran was struck by a vehicle while riding her bicycle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

Meanwhile, the driver of the involved automobile stopped after hitting Tran and cooperated with the law.

Tran died at the hospital, just 4:56 p.m., while undergoing treatment.

The wreck resulted in the closure of Santiago Canyon Road between Falcon to Ridgeline roads for an unknown time.

Meanwhile, an investigation into the accident is underway.
