Rudolfo Orozco Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Clark Street near Cajalco Road in Mead Valley
Mead Valley, California (February 2, 2021) – The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident on Saturday evening in Mead Valley has been identified as Rudolfo Orozco, 54, from Perris, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-coroner’s Bureau.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident was reported at around 6:45 p.m. January 30, on Clark Street, just north of Cajalco Road.
Orozco was walking across the street when he was hit by a northbound Honda Accord in unclear circumstances.
The CHP said Orozco suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police believe Orozco was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
