Adan Salazar Killed in Palm Springs Pedestrian Crash on Ramon Road near San Luis Rey Drive
Palm Springs, California (February 2, 2021) – The Riverside County Coroner’s office has identified Adan Martinez Salazar, 69, of Palm Springs, as the man who was killed in a pedestrian accident in Palm Springs on Friday morning.
According to the police report, the accident happened at around 11:19 a.m., January 29, on Ramon Road, west of San Luis Rey Drive.
Salazar was walking across Ramon Road in a marked crosswalk when an eastbound sedan struck him.
Salazar was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the sedan stayed at the scene after the crash and cooperated with authorities.
The accident remains under investigation.
