Man, 23, Killed in Los Angeles Wrong-Way Accident on 110 Freeway near 91 Freeway

Los Angeles, California (February 2, 2020) – A traffic collision involving multiple vehicles in Los Angeles early Monday morning left a 23-year man dead.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly crash site in the morning hours on 110 Freeway near Gardena (91) Freeway.

The accident involved a sedan that was moving northbound in the southbound lanes and multiple other automobiles.

Due to the impact, one of the involved vehicles rolled over. A female party was also trapped inside the wreckage and had to be rescued by firefighters.

The extricated woman was then rushed to an area hospital for further treatment.

A man was also declared dead at the crash site.

The wreck resulted in the closure of all southbound lanes of the interstate for an unknown time.

Meanwhile, the CHP is still investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
