Woman Struck and Killed by Hit-And-Run Driver on Panama Lane and Betty Street in Bakersfield

Bakersfield, California (January 13, 2021) – An alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident that took place in Bakersfield Tuesday evening left a female party dead.

The fatal crash was reported just before 7 p.m. at Panama Lane and Betty Street.

Two vehicles reportedly struck the woman while attempting to cross the street at the night hours.

The Bakersfield Police Department affirmed that both motorists did not stop to render aid and escaped the crash site.

Sadly, the unidentified pedestrian died in the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
