Wilmington, California (January 16, 2021) – A man was hospitalized after being involved in a bicycle accident Tuesday morning in Wilmington a local news source reported.

At about 8:00 a.m., January 12, authorities received a crash report on the Pacific Coast Highway near the Island Avenue crossroad in Los Angeles.

A vehicle reportedly struck a man while riding a black and red bicycle on the roadway on January 12.

The bicyclist, who had black hair and brown eyes, was hospitalized after the wreck and he remained in the intensive care unit.

Officials described the patient as possibly 30-year-old, weighing 156 pounds, and he is 5 feet, 5 inches tall.

It was not immediately established whether the involved driver stopped and cooperated with the law.
