Sergio Hernandez Dies After Being Hit by Vehicle on Highway 145 in Kerman
Kerman, California (January 27, 2021) – The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner has released the name of the 45-year-old Kerman victim who died after being struck by a vehicle Friday night in Kerman, in Fresno County.
Authorities responded to the crash site just after 7 p.m. on Highway 145, near Belmont Avenue.
Sergio Hernandez was crossing the roadway when an SUV struck him. Officials later said that Hernandez walked into the path of the SUV at the time of the crash.
Hernandez died at the scene after he was run over by another vehicle.
The motorists of the involved vehicles remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine the cause of the accident.
