Jacob Conroy Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle on Goldenwest Street near Oxford Drive in Huntington Beach
Huntington Beach Pedestrian Accident on Goldenwest Street near Oxford Drive Kills Jacob Conroy
Huntington Beach, California (January 27, 2021) – Authorities have identified the 29-year-old victim who died after being struck by a vehicle Sunday evening in Huntington Beach as Jacob Conroy.
The January 24 deadly crash occurred on Goldenwest Street, near Oxford Drive, at approximately 7:15 p.m.
A black SUV reportedly hit Conroy was attempting to cross the highway at the night hours.
The SUV driver did not stop after hitting Conroy and escaped the scene.
Conroy was then struck by another vehicle before being declared dead at the crash site.
The second motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The accident remains under investigation by the Huntington Police Department
