San Francisco Pedestrian Collision at San Jose Avenue and 24th Street Seriously Injures 84-Year-Old Man

San Francisco, California (January 22, 2021) – An 84-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a pedestrian accident Tuesday night in San Francisco.

The January 19 accident occurred at San Jose Avenue and 24th Street at approximately 8:32 p.m.

The male pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while walking inside a marked crosswalk under unclear circumstances.

Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle stopped and cooperated with the law.

Paramedics attended to the unidentified pedestrian before rushing him to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
