Raymond Rivera Identified as Motorcyclist Killed in Oildale Crash at Roberts Lane and Manor Street
Oildale, California (January 6, 2021) – Raymond Alex Rivera, 33, of Bakersfield, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a hit-and-run collision last month in Oildale, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
The deadly motorcycle happened at about 3:25 a.m., on Sunday, December 27, at Roberts Lane and Manor Street.
According to the authorities, Rivera’s motorcycle was head westbound on Roberts Lane when it swerved off the roadway and crashed into a guardrail at Manor Street.
As a result of the collision, Roberts was reportedly ejected onto the roadway. While lying in the Roberts westbound lanes, Rivera was struck by a dark-colored Chevrolet Impala, whose driver allegedly fled the scene.
Rivera was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
