Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident at 23rd and L Streets Seriously Injures One Person
One Hospitalized After Being Struck by Vehicle at 23rd and L Streets in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (January 28, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle at an intersection in Bakersfield Tuesday evening.
The January 25 major injury crash happened in the area of 23rd and L streets at about 6:55 p.m.
The Bakersfield police said a red Fiat hit an individual who was running on 23rd Street near a gas station.
The Fiat operator remained at the crash site and cooperated with the law.
Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained in the wreck.
Officials did not believe alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
